Join us for a special screening of a recorded virtual tour of the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall in Taipei. This acclaimed program has been developed and presented by a leading historical organisation in Taipei for over a decade and is being made available exclusively for our group. The screening will be held at the Museum of Chinese in Australia and will be accompanied by commentary and discussion led by two historians, Dr Khing-hua Lim and Ms Lisa Huang, providing historical context and insights into the memorial's architecture, exhibitions, and its evolving place in Taiwan's public memory and debates over history and identity. This is a unique opportunity to experience one of Taiwan's most significant historical sites and engage in discussion on the complexities of memory, politics, and heritage in contemporary Taiwan.
